Today is International Women’s Day – a day that holds special significance this year after recent events highlighting the continuing need for advancement of women’s rights in the workplace.
Although there’s a great deal of progress that still needs to be made, we want to take today to acknowledge how far women have come in the workplace and in their lives.
During such a pivotal time for women’s equality, Pennsylvania Trust is proud to have four outstanding women holding senior leadership positions in our firm: Leslie Gillin Bohner, Esq., Chief Fiduciary Officer and General Counsel; Juliana Strong Karnavas, Director of Portfolio and Relationship Management; Nan M. Lansinger, Director of Marketing and Client Development; and Barbara S. Wood, CPA, Chief Financial Officer. In all, nearly 60% of our colleagues at Pennsylvania Trust are women.
Furthermore, our female staff members (just like our men) hold a variety of diverse credentials, including CPA, CFP®, CFA, and JD.
So, as we observe International Women’s Day this year, we’d like to recognize all the women and men who work tirelessly at Pennsylvania Trust and commemorate our women clients, many of whom have significant experience themselves in the workplace.
We hope you will join us in honoring the women in your lives and in working to ensure equality for all women in the workplace.
