Mr. Fiechter is Senior Vice President of Pennsylvania Trust. His responsibilities are as a portfolio manager and as a member of the investment team that develops and implements investment policy, strategy and security selection.
Prior to joining Pennsylvania Trust, Mr. Fiechter was Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor of Hawthorn, a member of the PNC Financial Services Group, serving ultra-affluent individuals and families, where he managed client portfolios and assisted clients in development of investment objectives and asset allocation guidelines. Prior to Hawthorn, he was Executive Vice President and Director of the Private Client Group of Walnut Asset Management, managing portfolios for individuals, endowments and foundations. Previous to Walnut, Mr. Fiechter was a Managing Partner at Stratton Management Company, and was President of the financial counseling subsidiary of Wilmington Trust Company where he served on the management committee of the Trust and Private Banking Departments. As a Principal at The Hay Group, he provided financial and estate planning services to corporate executives and their families across the U.S. He began his career at Provident National Bank in Philadelphia where he became Senior Trust Officer and Group Manager.
Mr. Fiechter has held leadership positions on numerous nonprofit boards and committees during his professional career. Currently, he serves as President of the Board of the Mary Louise Curtis Bok Foundation. He also serves on the Investment Committee of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he was formerly Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Fiechter is Trustee Emeritus and former Board Chair of the Christ Church Preservation Trust, and has served as a Trustee of the Presbyterian Foundation for Philadelphia.
